Deciduous and Flowering Trees

Highlights:

Tricolor Beech Tree

Fagus sylvatica ‘Purpurea Tricolor’ with striking colored leaves: purple/pink & shades of white/green; spectacular specimen tree. Fagus sylvatica ‘Red Obelisk’ with statuesque columnar form and burgundy leaves. Fagus sylvatica ‘Dawyck Purple’ similar to ‘Red Obelisk’ not as columnar and leaves green out in late summer.

Yellow Wood

Cladrastis Kentuckea with yellow hanging flower clusters in late May on a smooth bark shade tree for sun.

Japanese Tree Lilac

Has fluffy, cream colored clusters of flowers in June. A tree to 25ft and grows quickly, the shiny maroon bark is attractive in the winter.

Paperbark Maple Tree

With exfoliating cinnamon-rust-beige colored bark is a small tree to 20ft. Colored fall foliage.

Rhododendron

We have many different types of very hardy Rhododendron on hand.

Hydrangea

This is a beautiful, hardy Hydrangea (Vanilla Strawberry shown) with pink and white flowers. We carry many other long blooming hydrangeas, as well.

Rose of Sharon

Considered one of the best flowering shrubs, the Rose of Sharon is a deciduous shrub that is perfect for hedges, and is a reliable late summer bloom. (Blue Bird shown)

Seven Son Flower

A deciduous shrub-like-tree with three-veined leaves that retain into early winter. Peeling bark, large fragrant white flowers late in summer followed by bright red calyx in the fall.

Globe Blue Spruce

Beautiful globe shaped spruce, with unique color.

Vanderwolf Pine

Distinct pyramid shaped pine, with long silvery-blue needles on dense branches.

Weeping Norway Spruce

The weeping Norway spruce is a unique evergreen with weeping spreading branches with large cones and a deep green needle.

Green Giant Arborvitae

This conifer is perfect for privacy. It’s strong, versatile, deer resistant and fast growing.

Cherry Tree

Weeping Flowering Cherry – several varieties: Prunus ‘Snowfozam’ ‘Rosea’, and ‘White Fountain’ with graceful weeping branches of white or pink flowers in early spring, and yellow fall color.

Slender Silhouette Sweetgum

A very narrow very tall growing ornamental tree with star shaped leaves offering stunning fall colors in orange, yellow and red tones perfect for a garden accent or narrow tall tree hedge. 

Ivory & Raspberry Spear Crabapple

A showy narrow uniform columnar form crabapple perfect for tight spaces. Ivory Spear boasts white flowers with green summer leaves, bright with a touch of yellow in the fall color. Raspberry Spear has bright magenta flowers, a dark green/purple foliage which shows some bronzing on older leaves in late summer/early fall with orange tints in fall.
