PLANT DATABASE

Tillandsia cyanea

Commonly referred to as a Pink Quill, due to the pink bracts that grow from the center of the plant. It is also capable of nourishing itself through rain and airborne dew, rather than a root system. It only needs to be watered sparingly as it is used to a dry climate.

Pineapple Plant

An herbaceous biennial or perennial plant known for its delicious fruit, the Pineapple Plant has a short stem with sword-shaped leaves. When the plant flowers, the stem produces small purple or red flowers from which the fruit will develop.

Orange Tree

The orange tree is a citrus evergreen tree with a lifespan of about 55 years, with some living up to 100 years old. It will generally reach a height between 16 and 50 feet. Grown mainly for its fruits, it can also be grown for its flowers and ornamentation.

Lime Tree

Similar to the lemon tree, the lime tree is a deciduous tree with heart-shaped leaves and clusters of fragrant, yellowish flowers that appear in early July. The lime tree typically grows to about 25 meters in height.

Lemon Tree

A small fruit-bearing evergreen, the lemon tree has a spreading, upright growth habit with few large branches and stiff thorns. The leaves themselves are oblong, light green leaves that produce purple-white flowers in clusters.
