PLANT DATABASE

Tillandsia cyanea

Commonly referred to as a Pink Quill, due to the pink bracts that grow from the center of the plant. It is also capable of nourishing itself through rain and airborne dew, rather than a root system. It only needs to be watered sparingly as it is used to a dry climate.

Prayer Plant

Native to new-world tropics, the Prayer Plant has spreading leaves that turn upward in the evening. Ornamental varieties have developed a red venation with purple-green leaf sheaths. It grows well in partial shade and is fairly low maintenance.
